The movement began as The Dunamites on the campus of OAU, Ile-Ife. It served as a gathering point for students seeking spiritual awakening, deep fellowship, and clarity regarding their purpose and divine assignments
The fire spread across borders to Pretoria, operating under the name Deep Waters Deep Hearts. During a season of intense regional xenophobic unrest, the ministry became a sanctuary of peace, fostering unity through prayer programs and worship concerts.
Today, all expressions, branches, and online communities are unified under one single umbrella: Deep Waters International. We stand as a global family burning with a singular vision for revival and kingdom advancement through the understanding of our priesthood in Christ.
Omotayo Odeniyi popularly called TYDunamis, is the founder and president of Deep Waters International, a ministry he founded in 2011 when he was on campus together with some of his friends.
He is a Microbiology graduate from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a postgraduate researcher from the University of South Africa. He works currently as a Marine Research Scientist and a part time lecturer on Oceanography.
With a profound interest in Church history and revival narratives, he's naturally drawn to the enigmatic aspects of purpose discovery, spirituality and priesthood, through discipleship retreats, prophetic worship programs and mentorship programs for youths and young adults.
Also as the visionary behind Deep Waters Media, Omotayo passionately crafts morally upright video content targeting youths and teenagers.
Outside of his professional pursuits, TYDunamis finds joy in his marriage to Sister Eseohi. Their journey together embodies shared values and mutual growth
